Every paint correction and ceramic coating installation at Scott’s Custom Auto Spa is completed personally by the owner inside our fully climate-controlled detailing studio.
Professional paint-thickness measurement helps determine how safely the finish can be corrected. ScanGrip colour-correct inspection lighting reveals swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, sanding marks and polishing haze that may remain hidden under ordinary shop lighting.
Depending on the condition of the vehicle, we use rotary, forced-rotation and dual-action polishing equipment with carefully selected wool, microfiber and foam pads. This allows each correction stage to be completed accurately without unnecessarily removing clear coat.
Once the paint has been properly refined and prepared, the selected ceramic coating is installed under controlled conditions and allowed to cure indoors overnight before pickup.
At Scott’s, every vehicle is evaluated individually. The level of paint correction is determined by the actual condition of the paint—not simply bundled into a rushed, one-size-fits-all package.

CERAMIC COATING PROTECTION FOR QUINTE WEST & ONTARIO DRIVING

A professionally installed ceramic coating creates a durable, chemical-resistant layer over properly prepared paint. It helps reduce contamination bonding to the surface, preserves gloss and makes regular washing considerably easier—especially for daily-driven vehicles exposed to Ontario winters.
Road salt alone does not normally destroy a properly installed professional coating. WHAT CERAMIC COATING DOES—AND DOES NOT—PROTECT AGAINST
Ceramic coating helps protect automotive paint against UV exposure, oxidation, road grime, chemical contamination, bug residue, bird droppings and other environmental exposure. Its slick, hydrophobic surface also makes dirt easier to remove and helps a properly corrected finish retain its gloss.
Ceramic coating is not scratch-proof, stone-chip-proof or maintenance-free. It cannot absorb the impact of road debris, prevent dents or replace proper washing techniques. Paint protection film is the appropriate product for physical impact protection, while ceramic coating provides chemical resistance, easier maintenance and long-term surface protection.
